Nemuineko World is a Japanese startup launched in San Francisco, CA in June 2018 by the Chilean developer and founder of "BudoWebs Studio", Rodrigo Aguila Bahamonde. Nemuineko World is a simple yet efficient solution for those who require professional translation of texts in various languages. Nemuineko World was born from an idea by its creator and developer, Rodrigo Aguila Bahamonde, in 2015, initially during his residency in Colombia. After that, the planning stage began, including the development of a business plan, branding, and prototyping when he had returned to Chile. It was there, in his native country, that he decided the startup’s image would be the "Sleeping Cat," due to his lifelong fascination and special affection for felines. However, after developing the business plan and corporate image, the project was put on hold for more than 2 years until Rodrigo, somewhat overwhelmed by the lack of motivation he was experiencing during his final year in Chile, decided to return to Japan, specifically to its capital, Tokyo. It is there that the developer reconnected with the necessary motivation and inspiration to resume and complete the project. At that point, he focused on working on the web application’s code until he finished developing the first version (Spanish version). Once the project was completed, he decided to officially launch it in San Francisco, California.
In summary, Nemuineko World is a project born in Rodrigo's mind during his residency in Bogotá, initiated in its planning and branding phases in the Chilean Patagonia, programmed in Tokyo, and finally launched and hosted in San Francisco, California.
The web app of Nemuineko World is custom-developed using PHP7.x, HTML5, and Responsive Web Design. The project is hosted in San Francisco, California (USA).
It is worth mentioning that Rodrigo Aguila considered the possibility of developing the application using the Ruby language, given his fondness for it and his personal connection with its creator, Yukihiro Matsumoto (Matz). However, since it has become very trendy to develop apps with Ruby and its famous framework Rails, he wanted to demonstrate that new startups could also be created with classic languages like PHP, without this being a negative point for the startup.
